mother is Jane Stanley. Father is Nicholas Halvosoe. He was christened Nicholas Halvosoe Stanley on 11.1.1805 at St Gluvias Cornall. Nicholas married Martha Chin in Cornwall. They had five sons: William ch 30.12.1827. Jacob ch 1.5.1829. William Nicholas ch 11.10.1833, Richard Chin ch 5.7.1835 and Thomas ch 3.4.1837. He Applied for four of his sons and his wife Martha to join him in Van Diemen's Land in 1847 (Tasmanian State Archives).
