Committed to the Castle: ...— William Stannard, (by the Rev. B. Barker,) charged with stealing a skep of bees from George Allen, of Ovington. -- Bury and Norwich Post, 30 Dec 1829.




William left a wife and 4 children in the UK, the youngest aged 1, on subsequent cencus records she described herself as a widow & a pauper.

Folio 11: William Stannard, aged 28, convict; case number 31; disease or hurt, catarrh. Put on sick list, 12 May 1830 at sea. Discharged 14 May 1830.
