At Clonmel Assizes, on Saturday, …. Sentence of death was recorded against John Stapleton and John Barrett, for burglary in the house of Edmond Daniel, Dublin Evening Packet, 31 March 1832. John Stapleton, John Barrett and John Daniel, charged with administering an unlawful oath to Wm. Myers, and compelling him to quit his employment of a keeper, and for a burglary in the house of a person named Daniel, were found Guilty, and sentenced 7 years transportation. Clonmel Herald, 24 March 1832.
