Dec 28. William Steel and George Smith, prisoners of the crown, charged with having stolen 3 bags of maize which had been delivered into their charge, to be conveyed to the Carters' Barracks, and which maize was the property of Government, were severally ordered to be removed to a penal settlement for 3 years.
