Margaret is mentioned in the 1814 Muster as well. [Ref 1433] Margaret Stocker, Indispensible, widow with 6 children. # Note that would be the 5 children from the marriage with Isaac Cornwell and also her daughter Helen Stevenson who was born in 1813, the child of John Stevenson.

John entered a relationship with Margaret Stocker (Convict, Indispensible, 1796) in about 1812. Margaret would have been a widow at that stage. She had been married? to Isaac Cornwell (Convict, William and Ann, 1791). However, he had died in January 1811, leaving her with 5 young children. She and John had 2 more children. Margaret died in 1828, just prior to the census.

Some confusion regarding the identity of this convict. There is a John Stevenson recorded as transported on 'Pitt' in 1792. Tried at the Old Bailey. No subsequent records for such a person have been identified but these two must be seperate individuals.
