1844, 31 May: Henry Stewart per KS Forbes and Mary Harrington per Navarino applied for permission to marry. It was "declined for further information" (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON52-1-2p221j2k). 1845, 30 April: They applied again and this time it was approved (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON52-1-2p223j2k). 1845, 24 June: Henry Stewart, 31, a shoemaker, and Mary Ann Harrington, 23, a servant were married in the Trinity Parish Church of England by banns. The ceremony was performed by Rev William Day and the witnesses were Thomas Scott and Jonas Heyward (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/RGD37-1-4p239j2k). 1852, 21 October: Henry was tried at the Richmond Quarter Sessions for larceny and convicted. He was sentenced to three months' imprisonment with hard labour, but the sentence was remitted (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON34-1-3$init=CON34-1-3P506).


1832, 4 January: Tried at the Epiphany Sessions, Lancaster, and sentenced to 14 years for stealing from the person. 1832, July: On arrival in VDL, he was single, aged 21. 1839, 22 March: Granted a Ticket of Leave. 1841, 16 February: Convicted for stealing a cloth coat valued at 2 pounds, original transportation sentence extended by two years. 1844, 8 December: Ticket of Leave reinstated and remainder of extension to original sentence remitted. 1846: Free Certificate granted (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON31-1-39$init=CON31-1-39p202).
