HO-9-7_2 page 42/48. Hulk Records. Retribution Hulk at Sheerness. Received from Edinburgh, 20 Aug 1826. Jno Stodart, age 18, Theft, convicted at Edinburgh, 18 July 1826, 14 years, NSW 16 Sep 1826. David Robertson, age 16, Theft, convicted at Edinburgh, 18 July 1826, 14 years, NSW 16 Sep 1826. High Court of Justiciary. Wednesday, David Robertson, shoemaker, and John Stodart, corkcutter, were accused of 15 different acts of theft, committed in dwelling-houses in Edinburgh, between the 9th February and 28th of March last. They both pleaded Guilty of the 4th, 5th,,6th, and 11th charges. The Jury found a verdict according to the confession of the pannels, who were sentenced to transportation for l4 years.
