SUSSEX LENT ASSIZES. The Spring Assizes for this County commenced at Horsham on Monday,  .. Death. James Bridge, aged 39, and William Stonage, aged 21, were tried for burglariously breaking into and entering the dwelling house of Mr. John Crasweller, of West Thorney, on the 15th of January. and feloniously stealing therefrom divers silver spoons, a silver pepper-castor, and other articles of value, the property of the said John Crasweller. The robbery Was effected  by forcing a parlour window, when the family had retired  to rest. The facts were clearly established. Guilty—Death.   New Times (London) 18 March 1818.
