Wednesday, the following convicts were removed from the County and Borough Gaols, in this town:—Daniel Spooner, Simon Mills, Moses Storkey, John Howes, Barnaby Gilson, and James Whitbread, be put on board the hulks at Gosport. Suffolk Chronicle, 17 May 1817.

Suffolk Lent Assizes.  John Howes and Moses Storkey, for robbing the bleaching grounds of John and Robert Aldred, of Wissett, of a quantity of hemp, were each sentenced to be transported tor life. Bury and Norwich post, 9 April 1817.
