John Stott Arrived in Aus: 1807 per Ship Duke of Portland; Born: 1793c, Died: 1835 Died at Port Arthur TAS AUS

John Stott was transported for stealing 2 shillings. 5/11/1833: Disobeyance and susing obsene and ufamous languge-3mths hard labour, Launceston chain gang recommended. 1834: Absent from barracks-imth imprisonment and hard labour, Launceston chain gang recommended. 24/2/1835 Drunk and AWOL -3mths imprisonment and hard labour and recommended to be removed to Port Arthur, being a sawyer. 9/5/1835: Not performing his full compliment of work-1mth imprisonment and to make up deficiency. 4/7/1835: Having job in his profession, contrary to the regulations-5 days solitaary confinement. 14/7/1835: DIED AT PORT ARTHUR.
