Bedford. Tuesday last, the following seven prisoners were removed from the County Gaol to the Hulks, sentence of death having been recorded against them at the last Assizes, which has been commuted to transportation for their natural lives, viz. Thomas Burrett, John Burrett, John Hodgins, James Robinson, Charles Davis, James Watson, Geo. Hide, and John Stratten. Huntingdon, Bedford and Peterborough Gazette, 26 April 1828. National Archives.
