Henry Stroud was convicted at Southhampton on 22/07/1828 for poaching. 7 yr sentence. Transported to NSW on the 'Waterloo'. SECOND CONVICTION Sydney Supreme Court 04/07/1844 for horsestealing, from Mr. Anderson at Wollongong. 10yr sentence. Served time in NSW 1846, 1847. Sent to Norfolk Island. From Norfolk Island to Hobart 03/11/1847 per Lady ...... 3rd class pass holder. Native Place: Poole, Somersetshire, England. Blacksmith; aged 38yrs; 5'11"; fresh complexion; dk brown hair; blue eyes.
