The convict indentures state that Abigail Sullivan was 20 years old. She could neither read and write; religion Roman Catholic; status single and a native of Bandon. She was a kitchen maid. Abigail was convicted of stealing clothes at Cork in October 1837 and sentenced to 7 years. She had one prior conviction and served 3 months.
