In the same court at Kerry, an Ellen Sullivan, aged 28, was convicted of cow stealing and sentenced to ten years, but she was transported on the ship Earl Grey when she left Grangegorman.

Mary had one previous conviction, she was five foot, single, with black hair and a sallow complexion. She was convicted on 22 June 1849 and entered the Grangegorman depot on 10 September 1849.
