DOB 1803, Native place, Tipperary North. Died 1867, at Eltham, VIC. Spouse: m. Ireland, Bridget Coleman (arr 1828). ------------------------------------------------- Michael Connors, Thomas Sweeny, and Thady Coonan, charged with assaulting the dwelling-house of Patrick Guyder, of Cullohill, by breaking the door and windows thereof, and with having set fire to said dwelling-house; Dublin Correspondent, 13 March 1823. ————————————————————————— CLONMEL, MARCH 1. On the night of Sunday last, about the hour of 12 o’clock, the house of Patrick Guyder, of Cullohill, in the barony of Ikerrin, was attacked by a party of armed men who demanded a gun and two locks belonging to one Thady Coonan, which they said he had … rushed out and secured three of the principals, one of whom, Michael Connors, styled himself Captain Rock, and gave orders to the rest; the other, Thomas Sweeny, had the tongs in his hand with which he applied the fire to the thatch ...
