Daniel Street, per Hebe, age 31, 14 years; T of L; and Sarah Cooney, per John Bull, age 40, 7 years, Free. Date of permission, 22 Sep 1831, Richmond. NSW BMD Marriage Reg: 1256/1832 Daniel Sweet and Sarah Mason, CE district. (Church of England, Richmond) Sarah Cooney's first husband, Thomas Mason was murdered in 1829, so Sarah was remarried, using her married name.

Four men, calling themselves John Shepherd, Daniel Sweet, Jon Gregory, and Wm, Whitehead, were, last week, apprehended at Plymouth, for uttering forged Bank of England Notes; they had recently arrived there from Exeter, and are supposed to belong to a gang of forgers, ..., and are now in our Gaol for their trial at the next Quarter Sessions. Exeter Flying Post, 5 Aug 1819. John Shepherd 39, John Gregory 21, Daniel Sweet 19, and Wm. Whitehead 21, have been committed to the Devon County Gaol, from Plymouth, charged, ... with horse-stealing and passing forged Bank notes. Bath Chronicle, 26 Aug 1819.
