Hobart Town Gazette, 15 Sept 1827 List of Runaways 457. Sweet, John, 5ft. 6, dark brown hair, hazel eyes, aged 24, stonemason, tried at Somerset January 1822, 7 years, per Caledonia 2, native place near Bath, two scars over right eye, mole over left eye, absconded from Launceston in June last. Same reward. (£2).
