Calendar of Prisoners. William Swift, for breaking. into the dwelling-house of Abraham King, and stealing a meat pyes articles.— Kentish Weekly Post, 12 Aug 1817. Thursday morning last were removed, under a strong guard, from his Majesty’s gaol at Maidstone, and put on board the Bellerophon Hulk at Sheerness, for transportation, the following male convicts, viz. William Beptley, Stephen Briant, Henry Martin, T Lascomb, John Lacey, Samuel Cramp, Woodcock, William Swift, George Gunnell, Willis, William Mannering, John Williams, and John Folkstone, Kentish Weekly Post, 16 Sept 1817.
