ury Division did not terminate till Wednesday noon, when the following prisoners were tried and sentenced as follows : — William Tabrum, for stealing about 8 stone of flour, the property of Mr. Philip Fuller, of Barton Parva; ... to be transported for 7 years. Bury and Norwich Post, 30 July 1823. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Hulk Records Portsmouth. HO 9-8-5 page 18/53. From Bury St Edmunds, 12 Aug 1823. William Tabrum, age 25, Stg flour from his employer, tried 21 July 1823, at Bury St Edmunds, 7 years, NSW 25 March 1824. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ National Archives. ADM 101/16/81824 Medical and surgical journal of the convict ship Chapman for 4 March to 31 July 1824 by James Hamilton, Surgeon and Superintendent, during which time the said ship was bound for Van Diemen's Land. Folio 23: William [Fabrum, Tabrum or Zabrum], aged 26, Convict; disease or hurt, phlegmon, severe pain in the right axilla, the glands of which are indurated and inflamed. Taken ill, 23 July 1824, at sea. Sent to hospital, 28 July 1824. Folio 24: 28 July 1824, William [Fabrum, Tabrum or Zabrum] and John Gibson are sent to the hospital, the ship having reached its destination the previous day.
