David john Tallent was born in derbyshire to joseph Tallent & mary tallent (nee nightingale)He was christened at all saints church ashover derby 1822.he died near ballarat in 1900. He is buried at creswick Victoria with his wife Mary(nee Leonard)Mary died 1912 at the age of 80 yrs.David John Tallent is my Great Grandfather.He is also the great great grandfather of our olympic medalist Jarred Tallent.
