transported to tasmania on the WILLIAM Miles, arrived in hobart 28/7/1828.granted permission to marry mary-anne allen of georgetown ,after he was granted a pardon married 30/10/1840 at georgetown tasmania .had 15 children all born at georgetown william died of congestion of the lungs on 29/3/1873 he was 34 and mary-anne was 15 when they married

as he could read and write he was sent to Georgetown ,he was granted permission to marry Mary anne allen on the 30/10/1840 at georgetown,they had 15 children ,he died of a lung condition on 29/3/1873 mary was 15 and william 34 when they married
