THOMAS GRUBHAM was indicted for stealing, on the 30th of November , 4 pairs of shoes, value 22s. , the goods of Joseph Johnson . GEORGE PAINE . I was near Mr. Johnson's shop on the 30th of November; I saw the prisoner standing close to the window - I watched him; I saw him reach over and take these shoes from the shop, he ran away - I pursued and took him with them. JOSEPH JOHNSON. I keep a shop in Tottenham-court-road . These are my shoes. GUILTY . Aged 14. - Transported for Seven Years .
