Thomas Ibbs was convicted at Stafford, England 2 July 1840. 7yr sentence. Believed to have been sent to Parkhurst Boys Prison on the Isle of Wight. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Mandarin' 1843. In the Colony these boys were usually apprenticed out. No details on his Conduct Record other than assigned to James ...., Collins St. Hobart.
