Thomas Mcglinn was convicted at Cavin County, Ireland and was transported to WA on the Phoebe Dunbar which arrived in Fremantle 31/8/1853. Thomas was 22 years old, 5'7" tall, dark brown hair, dark grey eyes, sallow complexion, slight build, freckled, single, cut on top of finger left hand. 1854: TOL York 1854: Married Catherine Walker, they had 3 boys and 6 girls. Catherine became the librarian of York's Mechanics Institute. 1919: Thomas died at Claremont, at the old men's home, both Thomas and Catherine, who died 9 years earlier are buried at Karrakatta.
