1828 Census index. Thomas Peters, Age 30, F.S. Minerva, 1820, 7 years, Catholic, Shepherd to Rd. Rouse, Bathurst district. The Census Image (via Familysearch) shows that Thomas is working as shepherd at Goodaman Farm, which was 100 miles north of Bathurst, a sheep farm with 836 sheep, held by Richard Rouse.
