The guard comprises 30 men of the 1st Foot (Royals), under orders of Lieut. Lewis. Sydney Gazette, 13 Jan 1821.

ADM 101/61/3 . Medical and surgical journal of the convict ship Prince Regent for 1 May to 15 October 1827 by William Rae, surgeon and superintendent, during which time the said ship was employed in a voyage to New South Wales. Folio 11: Thomas Stroud, aged 25, convict; case number 9; disease or hurt, pyrexia. Bad character under sentence of seven years transportation for poaching. Put on sick list, 5 July 1827 near the Canary Islands. Discharged 18 July 1827 cured.
