1830 - 14 January. Tried. Old Bailey On-Line Born; 1804. Tried at Old Bailey, London (middx). Accused of theft from a specified place (stealing, on the 10th of December, 4 pairs of stockings, value 5s.; 30 sovereigns, and 20 half-sovereigns, the property of John Philips , in his dwelling-house). Found guilty theft under 100s, guilty. Sentenced to transportation.
