1842 - Age; 22 in 1842 [Born about 1820] Offence; Housebreaking and stealing plate "Stubborn and twice attempted to escape from goal. 1843 - 27 Mar. Absconded. Sentence; 2 years hard labor in chains 1843 - 23 May. Absconding. Received; 50 lashes. 1843 - 13 June. Absent without leave. Sentence; 10 days Solitary. 1843 - 2 August. DIED; at Wedge Bay. From the effects of a gunshot wound received whilst endeavoring to affect his escape from some constables on the 31 July 1843.
