William Thomas, aged about 18, occupation furrier - was convicted of stealing a brooch at the County Sessions Clerkenwell, 4 August 1846 and sentenced to 7 years transportation. His Register number was 10.140 Previous conviction for stealing a coat. [Source Millbank Prison, Middlesex: Register Of Prisoners Piece number 26 Page number 106] Known on Cornwall as William Thomas 2 (to distinguish him from another William Thomas)




When he was about 18 years old, William Thomas was tried at the Clerkenwell General Sessions on 4 August 1846 and convicted of stealing a brooch and one prior conviction of 3 months prison for stealing clothes. He was sentenced to transportation to Australia for a term of 7 years.
