An inquest was held at the Gaol, Launceston, on the 14th instant, upon the body of William Thomas, alias George Edwards, per Candahar, who was under commitment on a charge of burglary. Verdict--Natural causes, English cholera. Tasmania Police Gazette, 15th Dec 1871, p201.
