Digitised Indent of Gorgon. Richard Thompson, tried at York Gen Sess. 14 Mar 1789, 7 years. ------------------------------------------------------------- The following prisoners have taken their trials at the Guildhall, viz. Richard ? and James Mills, found guilty of picking; Sheffield Register, 21 March 1789. On Saturday last the following prisoners in Ousebridge gaol, received their sentences, viz. Richard Thomson and James Mills, found guilty pocket picking, and George Holdsworth, for grand larceny, be transported for seven years; Sheffield Register, 4 April 1789.
