Wm. McFarlane [Lady Ridley ], George Nesbitt [George Nisbet – Countess of Harcourt 1821], and Wm. Thompson [Juliana 1820], convicts, were charged with stealing a boat, the property of James Foley, of Brown's River [south of Hobart], with intent to escape from the Colony; and pleading guilty, were sentenced to receive 100 lashes each, and to be transported to Macquarie Harbour for the remainder of their sentence.
