Indent No; 16295. Offence; Murder of Catherine Quinn. Struck her with a spade when they were quarrelling. Native Place; Ireland. Co. Galway 1850 - Asylum - Patients Admitted (earlier at Saltwater River, later Port Arthur), Folio 26. Date; 30 January 1850. Aged 24 years. ** As per register Disease on Admission; Original Date of Admission; 24 August 1849 Statement from New Norfolk Asylum; Mania - Delusio. Becoming imbecile - quiet and harmless. Principal hallucination was that he was suffering from Syphilis. Frequently on his knees praying - General health not very good but improving. DIED; at Salt Water River. 29 June 1851
