Thomas Thrussell .  for stealing a quantity of flour and three sacks, at ?ingstead, the property of John Sharman ; Northampton Mercury, 26 Feb 1820.

1820 Feb 26 Northampton Lent Assizes Tthe homas aged 50 tried for larceny, stealing John Sharman’s flour & 3 sacks at Ringstead. convicted sentenced to death, commuted to 7 years of penal servitude to be transported to Van Dieman’s Land, Australia. John Sharman was the principle witness, but unfortunately died 22 days or less before hearing, John’s burial on Feb 4 at St James, Thrapstone, Northamptonshire.
