3/8/1839 Vindicator Antrim, Northern Ireland: ARMAGH Jane Tipping, for selling base coin. Guilty; to transported for seven years. Jane Sheppard, for stealing a watch. To transported for seven years. Jane Tipping was 40 years old on arrival, she was a widow with 2 male and 3 female children. Her native place was Tyrone County and she was transported for "Uttering base coin". 1843: TOL Sydney 11/8/1846: COF 1849: Jane died and was buried in the Devonshire Street Cemetery before being re-interred in Gore Hill Cemetery.
