Richard Tobin was indicted for stealing a piece of Linnen, the property of Catherine Sullivan. The prisoner at night, between 8 and o’clock burst in the glass of the Shop Window and ran oil with the linen, but being pursued, was stopped, and it was found in his possession. Guilty. A notorious offender. To be transported for 7 years. Southern Reporter, 23 Aug 1827.
