Michael Toole, Edward. Murray, Eliza Tomkins, Mary Murphy, Bridget Hussey, Elizabeth Lyons, and Thomas Byrne, were indicted for the robbery of a quantity of wearing apparel, from the house of Mr. Tench. in York-street, This was a case of not the slightest interest. The jury, after a long charge from Judge Vandeleur, returned a verdict, finding Michael Toole, Edward Murray, and Eliza Tomkins, guilty of the burglary; Mary Murphy aid Bridget Hussey  guilty of receiving the goods, knowing them to be stolen ; and Eliza Lyons not guilty. Dublin Morning Register, 5 Jan 1830 Close of the Commission.  … following sentences were passed : Michael Toole, David Murray, Eliza Tomkins, and Thos. Byrne, burglary and robbery Mr. Tench’s house, in York-street—sentence of death recorded. Bridget Hussey, receiving stolen goods—to transported for seven years, Mary Murphy, like offence twelve months' imprisonment.  The Pilot, 13 Jan 1830.
