Thomas Toole, aged 34, arrived at Sydney on the “Hive” convict ship in December 1835 with a seven year sentence of transportation after being tried at the Dublin Commission for burglary and felony. He was assigned to “Invermein” (now Scone) in the Upper Hunter, got a Ticket of Leave for that area in 1840 and a Conditional Pardon in 1842.
