1822. Petition. To Frederick Goulburn, Esq, Colonial Secretary. Sir, We humbly solicit you will be pleased to let us have our son off the stores, he came in the ship Lady Harcourt and landed this morning, is now in the Gaol yard Sydney. He is a young man able to earn a living with his father by attending stone masons. Independent of Government -There which occupation his father has supported his family here for several years. He came here by the name of John Sullivan and under sentence of seven years Transportation. (his Mothers name is Sullivan) for your Compliance Sir we shall pray for your good health &c, &c. we are your obedient servants William Tracey Mary Sullivan, alias Tracy.
