CO 280/196 folio 348A has several different data points: 1. Name is given as "Charles Taylor"; all other data matches. 2. Date of death is specified as 5 March 1845.

Charles TRIPLOW was convicted at Cambridge, England on 18 March 1843 for intent to murder. Life sentence. Transported to Australia per the ship 'Maitland' 1844. Ship surgeon's report: "very good". Charles was sent to Norfolk Island (off the east coast of New South Wales, but administered at that time by Van Diemen's Land Colony). 30 months Probation Period. DEATH: Died on Norfolk Island on 5 March 1844. (Cause is not stated on Convict Record.)
