William Tripp was convicted of burglary in Oxford in July 1808. He was apparently assigned as a servant to James Flavell (Barwell 1798) who had a blacksmith business in Sydney. 4/11/1816: Both William and James Flavell were convicted of the burglary of Thomas Reed on the 16/6/1816 and were sentenced to death. 15/11/1816: Both were hanged – Report in the Sydney Gazette 16/11/1816.
