Mother: Mary Sisters: Margaret Brother: Stephen Further offence: Launceston, VDL, 8 Aug 1850 - offering money under false pretence. To be imprisoned and kept at hard labour at the Launceston House of Correction, for 18 months. 1850: Port Arthur Penal Settlement Freedom

Sent to Norfolk Island. 1833: Disorderly conduct. 25 lashes. 1834: 50 lashes 14 Nov 1834: to Moreton Bay for 3 yrs Larceny - Campbell Town Q.S. Returned 1837. Further Offence 1838, tried at Sydney S.C.: Highway Robbery, with Samuel Dean, on Norfolk Island. Life sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Governor Phillip' arriving 26 July 1845. Single; aged 40yrs; labourer; Protestant. Native place - Woodstock. Probation Period in VDL of 12mths. Station Gang - Cascades (south Hobart) 29 Dec 1846: Ticket of Leave 19 Feb 1850: Conditional Pardon
