Aged 22yrs; single; Roman Catholic; Native Place - Belfast; 5'4 1/2"; fresh complexion; black hair; dark eyes; housemaid/laundress. Brothers: Thomas, James & Edward Sister: Margaret 1850: C. Callaghan, Argyle St. Hobart 09/04/1850: absent - 7mths hard labour at Cascades Female Factory, Hobart. 1851: Ross 1852: A. Jackson, Esq. 'Williamswood', Campbell Town. numerous offences of misconduct - disturbing the peace; obscene language; drunk and disorderly - from 1856 - 1884. Served time at Launceston House of Correction, Campbell Town gaol, Torquay gaol. 19/08/1870: Unlawfully attempt to drown herself in the River Forth - dismissed. Delivered of a female child, at Ross Female Factory 10/01/1852 - Ann Tully. Application for permission to marry George Wolf 26/01/1853. Married on 28/02/1853 at St. Johns Anglican Church, Ross, Tasmania. George listed as 23yrs of age, bachelor & shepherd. (ex convict per 'Barossa'). Ann listed as 24yrs, spinster, house servant. Children: 1853 - Elizabeth Wolfe 1856 - Susan Wolfe 1857 - George Wolfe 1858 - Solomon Wolfe 1866 - David Wolfe 1868 - Mary Wolfe 1873 - Thomas Wolfe Ann lived her latter years at Hamilton-on-Forth (now just called Forth, in north west Tasmania) but was found drowned in the River Forth on 27/11/1884.




Ann Tully was convicted at Antrim, Ireland on 19/03/1849 for stealing china & clothing. 3rd offence. 7 yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemens Land on the 'Australasia' departing Dublin 26/06/1849, arriving Hobart 29/09/1849.
