Family connections for Bridget (Tunny) are: TUNNEY Lawrence (Tunny/ey) was born in 1762 & became a labourer. He apparantly married. He was tried at Roscommon Ireland, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW or Van Diemens Land (Tasmania) as a convict with a son on 28 7 1817 after a voyage of 5months on PILOT; he was 5'6" fair complexion grey hair hazel eyes. [Some details taken from this Website] Lawrence (Tunny/ey) produced at least 3children: 1.Owen (Tunny) was born in 1788 & became a labourer. He was living at Sligo Ireland when tried at Roscommon in 1816 & arrived in NSW as a convict on 26 7 1817 after a voyage of 4months on CHAPMAN; he was 5'8" dark ruddy complexion black hair hazel eyes. ..[Some details taken from this Website] 2.Patrick (Tunney) was born about 1797 & became a labourer. On 17 11 1834 she, as Fanny Bridget, absconded from James (Crispe) of George St; she was a laundress & still described as 5'1.5" ruddy complexion little freckled black hair hazel eyes.
