One woman and 7 children died on the voyage. At least 2 children were born during the voyage. The Surgeon Superintendent was Dr Wylie, R.N. and the Matron, Mrs Evans. The Arabian arrived at Hobart Town, February 25 1847.

Anne Tuohy and Anne Mahony were found guilty of maliciously setting fire to the dwelling Denis McCarthy, near Mountshannon, the 14th June. Tipperary Vindicator, 14 July 1846. Anne Tuohy and Anne Mahony, for burning a house at Mountshannon—To be transported for fifteen years. [One of the prisoners said, Thank your Lordship.] Tipperary Vindicator, 25 July 1846. The following convicts, under sentence of transportation, were forwarded this morning from the county gaol to Dublin, for transportation to Van Diemen's Land: Judith Meany, larceny, 7 years ; Anne Tuohy and Anne Mahony, arson, 15 years each. City convicts, under rule of 7 years each Mary Kenny, Mary Long, and Ellen White. Winifred M'Namara, from Ennis gaol for larceny, 7 years, was transmitted with the above, and all under escort of a Police force from this city. Limerick Chronicle, 26 Sep 1846.

Anne stated "I did it to get transported". Roman Catholic, not literate, single, 5'1 1/4"; aged 22yrs; fresh complexion; black hair; dk blue eyes; country servant. Native Place of birth: Limerick, Ireland. Assignments in Colony: 1848 at Ross Female Factory. Delivered of a stillborn child 15/11/1848. Delivered of a child Sept 1852 @ Ross Female Factory, but child died 01/12/1852. 1852 at Westbury. Several record of misconduct. Ticket of Leave 23/12/1854 Married George White 29/01/1855 or 1856 - 2 registrations on index for both years. Conditional Pardon 29/09/1857.

Ann Tuohy was convicted at Limerick on 15/07/1846 for Arson, along with Ann Maloney (also transported on same ship). 15yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania), arriving 25/02/1847.
