18 years old when she came to Australia. Married to a man named John Townsend in Launceston 21 April 1851. They had 11 kids.

Agnes Jane Townsend nee Turley is buried in an unmarked grave in the Wivenhoe Cemetery Burnie Tasmania. One of her children was my Great Grandfather Thomas.

Accused Agnes Turley, Verdict: Guilty, Sentence: Transportation - 7 years. Note: Front of indictment has pannel as Ann Turley. Rest of indictment calls her Agnes. Possible error by clerk
