Family connections for James (Turner) may be: TURNER James (Turner) was born about 1792. It seems he firstly (1of3) married Margaret (??? her first marriage). He was tried at Sussex Assizes, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 14 8 1802 after a voyage of 7months on PERSEUS.>>> [Some details taken from this Website] .. Memorial for indulgence from the Government Stores (Fiche 3159; 4/1844C No.817 pp.1053-6) 1825 Oct 14: To be victualled from the Store at Windsor for six months; with his wife, three children and convict servant (Reel 6015; 4/3515 p.431) 13/8/1810: Eleanor Williams/Perkins (Eleanor was previously married to Samuel Perkins (Pitt 1802) - no children listed. 31/1/1813: CP Eleanor died C1828 2/8/1832: Permission granted for James Turner age 40 transported aboard the ship 'Perseus', life sentence with a conditional pardon to marry Ann Searson, aged 26 (Hooghley) 7 years sentence, on bond. 8/8/1832: Married at St Johns, Wilberforce – 1 daughter, Jane Ann Turner 1838-1913. 12/12/1855: James died at Wilberforce, Hawkesbury, NSW.
