Kent Assizes. J. Turner, for stealing from at field in Penshurst, one wether sheep, the property of John Skinner.— Death, Reprieved. Kentish Weekly Post, 25 March 1817. Canterbury April 29. Convicts.—Early on Tuesday morning were removed under removed under strong guard from his Majesty's gaol, at Maidstone, the following male convicts, to be put on board the Hulks, at Sheerness, viz.—Michael Corfey, James Bryan, James Pocock, Thomas Ramsey, John Turner, Turner, John Giddins, Thomas Scott, Daniel Broduon, William Butcher, and Edward Chambers. Likewise, on Saturday morning James Winton, Jacob Coley, George Coley, Thomas King, John Solomon, Edward Coleman, Wm. Coley, James Potter. Elias Greenway, James Jorden John Norton, John Rennie and H.
