19/11/1830 Chester Chronicle Cheshire, England: DARING THIEVES. - Thomas Broomhall, (a fellow who has recently completed his term of transportation, and who was acquitted on a charge of felony at the last sessions) William Dickenson, and William Usherwood, were charged with forcibly entering he shop of Mr Henshall, gflour dealer, in Boughton, last night, and stealing thereout 14s. Thomas Broomhall arrived VDL per 'Strathfieldsay' 1831 and William Dickenson was also on board the Elizabeth (Listed as Dickinson). William Usherwood was 20 years old on arrival, he was 5'6¾" tall, fair complexion, flaxen hair, grey eyes, stout made, single. 27/5/1840: TOL July 1845: CP 19/3/1852: Free Certificate. 3/6/1852: Steerage passenger Launceston to Melbourne - Free by servitude. 27/10/1852: Steerage passenger Launceston to Melbourne - Free by servitude. 25/3/1881: William Usherwood died at the New Town Pauper Establishment, aged 68, a labourer, he died of General Debility. No marriage found.
