Mary was five foot three inches tall, had sandy hair and a fair complexion, she was single and could not read or write. Mary had one previous conviction. She was convicted of Arson of a stack of hay on January 1 1850, alongside Cath Gearon who was also convicted of Arson, of an outhouse. They were transferred from Limerick to Grangegorman on March 4
